£7,000 raised for British Heart Foundation

220 miles off road, 3 days, mud and puddles, sweat and tears, London to Paris.

After months of training a team lead by Adrian Rothera set off from Kempton Park Racecourse, the first day followed the Thames, the river Wey, past Wokingham, Guildford on to the Southdowns and finished at the sea in Shoreham.

The second started from Dieppe with a long climb in to the countryside, where the real hard work started. After months of rain the ground was soaked and conditions were pretty bad.

The third and final day was 90 miles long and we followed the Seine before climbing through a national park on to the plateau and finishing at Versailles.

All 9 members of our ageing team made the whole trip and we raised over £7,000.
